Trivia of the Week 🎯

The boom is closely associated with young Latin American novelists like Gabriel García Márquez and Mario Vargas Llosa, whose work became widely circulated throughout the world during the 1960s and 1970s. Influenced by European Modernism and the Vanguardia movement, the Boom challenged established conventions of Latin American literature, reflecting often radical ideas amidst a period of intense political turmoil in the region.
